The Art of Theatre Teacher Academy: Children's Theatre in the Class

In this workshop, teachers will experience a cross-curricular approach to the theater arts. It is designed to engage frameworks that support Arkansas' teachers and students. For ease in use, it is designed in a "recipe format" and engages a multitude of learning styles. If followed by a live theater experience, students will begin to identify details of production and careers, as well as encouraging a lifelong enjoyment of the theater. The goal is to create a love of the arts that engages minds as well as the senses. Teachers will earn 6 professional development credits for attending this Academy.
