Special Interest Groups

Whether your passion is collecting art, learning about art in a fun, social setting or supporting a specific program of the Arkansas Arts Center, we have a special interest group for you.

Children's Theatre Guild
Open to members at the $55 level or higher, this volunteer organization provides support and promotes the activities of the Children's Theatre, including fundraising activities, assisting with auditions and helping with productions. For more information, click here to email or call 501-396-0351.

The Collectors Group
Open to members at the $150 level or above, this group meets with gallery owners, artists and collectors to see and learn more about art. In addition, the Collectors Group travels nationally and internationally to view private collections, and tour significant art institutions. Contemporaries
Open to members at the $55 level or higher between the ages of 21 and 45, this group participates in bi-monthly programming aimed at fun, accessible art education. They also serve as the hosts for Art on Tap. For more information, click here to email or call 501-396-0337.

Fine Arts Club
Open to members at the $55 level or higher, the Fine Arts Club of Arkansas provides volunteer service to the Arts Center and hosts four art-related lectures each year. Friends of Contemporary Craft
Open to members at the $55 level or higher, the Friends of Contemporary Craft support and promote the contemporary craft media. In addition to traveling worldwide, FOCC presents some of the country's most well-known craft artists in a variety of media including ceramics, jewelry, glass, wood, textiles, furniture and metal work with the "Conversations" lecture series. Traveling Seminar Group
Open to members at the $55 level or higher, this group visits internationally renowned museums, impressive private collections and historical sites in counties around the globe. The Arts Center national and international traveling seminars are unique, in-depth, and innovative. They offer travelers a chance to delve behind the scenes wherever they visit and they provide an enriching cultural experience. For more information, click here to email or call 501-396-0337.

Docents
Share your appreciation for the visual arts with others by becoming one of our docents. Arts Center Docents are a diverse group of volunteers, ranging from college to retirement years.
