This exhibition will feature the recent works of Arkansas Arts Center Museum School photography department faculty members. This collection offers a glimpse into the worlds and works of the Arts Center's diverse faculty and their respective approaches, interests and styles. With a range of backgrounds including photojournalism, portraiture, fine art, nature and documentary, the photography department's varied and unique talents present not only a compelling body of work but also a rich environment for teaching, learning and inspiration.
The works included in the exhibition express how each instructor is attracted, motivated and inspired by different things. The art that they create in the end may differ drastically from their fellow artists. However, the starting point is the same and the process is identical.
