Children's Theatre Internships
The Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre offers a limited number of paid, season long internships to those who wish to work with its performance and production staff in an education program designed to prepare them to enter the professional theatre field. Students who have secured a degree in theatre, graduates, or other professionals actively pursuing careers in professional theatre are eligible to apply.
The Arkansas Arts Center Theatre interns should be self-confident, have a strong work ethic, be a natural team player, possess strong communication skills, take criticism and direction well, have the ability to multi-task, and know how to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Cathleen Brignac (Production Intern) graduated in 2014 with a BFA in painting. She designs and builds costumes and props professionally for film and theatre and also in her spare time for cosplay. She also works with the Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre Company in the summer season.
Geoffrey Eggleston (Production Intern) drove all the way here from South Dakota and is thrilled to be joining the Children’s Theatre this season! Geoffrey just graduated with a degree in musical theater from Millikin University. Favorite credits include Andrew Jackson in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and Captain Hook in Peter Pan. Thanks Mom!
Nicole Jovanovic (Production Intern) graduated from UALR in 2014 with a BA in theatre arts. Nicole’s credits at UALR include Assistant Technical Director for Little Shop of Horrors and Stage Manager for The Waiting Room. She has been on crew and acted at the Children’s Theatre since she was seven years old, and is thrilled to finally be one of the “grown-ups.”
Nick Spencer (Production Intern) is very excited to begin his first season with the AACCT. He just recently graduated from Transylvania University with a BA in theater. Favorite rolls of his have included Dorante from The Liar, King Charlemagne in Pippin, and Touchstone in As You Like It. While he just recently arrived from Tennessee, he's already falling in love with Little Rock. He would also like to thank his family and friends for all of the support they have given to him over the years.
