Artmobile

The Artmobile, a mobile gallery, is a perfect source of arts exposure for schools or communities. It is one of very few mobile gallery programs in the country. The intent of this touring program is to bring an authentic gallery experience to communities throughout the region. An art educator travels with the facility to provide guidance and information concerning the exhibition, further enhancing the educational experience to those who tour the Artmobile.

ART - Works from the Permanent Collection

How does an art museum build a collection? How is artwork selected? Where do the works come from? These questions are answered through a multi-media exhibition representing the best of the Arkansas Arts Center Permanent Collection. Artists' concept through creativity is explored. This educationally-relevant body of works provides the viewer with a panorama of the visual arts and an insight into the world of art collecting.
