This fun and exciting class explores the dramatic imagination through creative game play. Using nursery rhymes as a springboard into story and character students will build the confidence to take the stage in this safe and creative environment.

Unlock the treasure chest and discover the magical world inside! Students will pull from the treasure chest items that inspire a different dramatic journey each week. Students will work together to weave a story while using their bodies, senses, and emotions.

What's this?! A Hullaballoo Bag! Inside this mystical bag are clues to a story yet to be told. Through creative improvisation, characterization, and teamwork students will dramatically reveal the story hidden inside. Whatever the tale, it is sure to cause a hullaballoo!

Dream and dare to imagine the impossible with the poetry of Shel Silverstein in this fun-filled class! Young performers become characters like Cloony the Clown, Wild Bill, Peggy Ann McKay, Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout and many more. Oh, and there's singing and dancing too!

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a superhero! Join us in the city of danger at the Children's Theatre and bring to life the superhero you have been dreaming of. Students create their own superhero adventures with the help of AACCT company actors.

Explore the dark and mystical world of light and shadow with Jim Henson Foundation grant winner and puppet artist Katie. Using overhead projectors and paper participants with create their own stories and characters that can only be revealed by shadows and light.

This workshop is not for the faint of heart. Stage combat (and zombie) experts Ashley and Brett will teach you the skills necessary to fight your way to a safe zone in the event of an undead outbreak. You will learn unarmed combat and how to defend yourself with found objects. Take this workshop and survive.
