Where do our new ideas come from? Where do we get the courage to try new things? Where do we have to go to see the usual things in a different way? Outside the Lines! This year's Junior Arts Academy is all about shaking things up, having fun with our mistakes, and reframing our perceptions while we make some cool art! We'll look back at famous pioneering artists and movements in Art and Theatre who worked hard for their new ideas, and look forward to generating our own exciting work in fun new ways! It will take courage and joy, perseverance and an open mind, and it will be the most fun ever! Come play Outside the Lines with us!

The two-week program runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, Monday–Friday, June 6-17, 2016. The session culminates with "Play & Display" where young thespians perform original, short PLAYS on the Children's Theatre Main Stage, and the artwork they create is on DISPLAY in the Arkansas Arts Center.

Look forward to another fun and exciting JAA program June 6–17, 2016!
